my approach
Reaching out for counselling can feel overwhelming, especially when you are carrying grief, loss, trauma or heartbreak.
I aim to create a warm, safe, and non-judgemental space where you can be fully seen, heard, and understood.
I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, supporting and empowering you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Together, we can gently identify what matters, work toward your goals, and discover ways to navigate this difficult journey.
I really hope to build a trusting, compassionate relationship with you and strive to provide you with gentle inclusive support that is non-judgemental and neuroaffirming.
In this space, there is no right or wrong way to grieve or to experience trauma and loss - only your way - and I am here to hold that space with care, understanding, and respect.

I am diversity friendly and welcome clients from First Nations communities, people with disabilities, and members of the LGBTIQA+ community.

I use a range of modalities in my work, but I am not wedded to any one particular theoretical approach. We will work together to find what works for you. I see this as a partnership and invite you to take an active part in the process as we work together.
